Often known as common nettle, stinging nettle (although not all plants of this species sting) or nettle leaf, is a herbaceous perennial flowering plant in the family Urticaceae.
The Stinging Nettle is better fed dried. It cleans the blood, is diuretic, detoxifying, strengthens the immune system, against diarrhea, is appetizing, helps with arthritis, pushing the metabolism, lowering the blood sugar level and mucolytic.

Please note that some of these herbs like dandelions, red clover and nettles contain a larger amount of calcium compared to other herbs or flowers. In their fresh state some of these herbs may be diuretic but if you have an animal with bladder stones or issues with bladder sludge we suggest to consult your vet before offering these as treats.
