Broadleaf plantain, white man's foot, or greater plantain is a species of flowering plant in the plantain family Plantaginaceae.
Plantain are anti-inflammatory, eases digestion problems, as a tea it helps with colds, diuretic, helps with urinary and kidney infections.
The term "plantain" is loosely applied to any banana cultivar that is usually cooked before it is eaten. However, there is no botanical distinction between bananas and plantains.

Please note that some of these herbs like dandelions, red clover and nettles contain a larger amount of calcium compared to other herbs or flowers. In their fresh state some of these herbs may be diuretic but if you have an animal with bladder stones or issues with bladder sludge we suggest to consult your vet before offering these as treats.
